TOC Learning Connection Master Facilitator
18 hours of TOCfE Instruction
Prerequisite: Certificate of completion of The TOC Learning Connection and portfolio of case studies of CLOUD, Logic Branch and Ambitious Target that were created by individuals taught by participant
General Objectives:
- Effectively prepare participants to transfer the knowledge of - and certify groups of adult learners in - the TOC Learning Connection
- Learn and apply a TOC thinking tool, the Transition Tree, to give clear instructions
Specific Learning Objectives:
- Identify obstacles to being an effective facilitator of TACT, TACT Etc and TOC Learning Connection to groups of adult learners
- Identify sufficient actions to address all identified obstacles to transfer the knowledge of TACT, TACT Etc and TOC Learning Connection
- Verbalize and explain the TOC moral code, basic assumptions and 4 Pillars
- Identify the elements of the Transition Tree
- Verbalize and assess the logic of actions to achieve desired effects using the Transition Tree process
- Create a Transition Tree as an action plan to achieve a seminar objective
- Evaluate the logic of a Transition Tree application using the CLR’s
- Identify characteristics of a good facilitator and action steps needed to attain them
- Explain how TOCfE teaching tools and methodologies support and can be integrated with respected learning theories to achieve effective transfer of knowledge
- Explain why the TOCfE applications of CLOUD, Branch, and Ambitious Target Tree, and CLRs are an effective teaching methodology
- Deepen mastery of CLOUD, Logic Branch, Ambitious Target and CLR’s
- Identify the dynamics of teaching to a group and how these dynamics impact teaching groups of learners
- Explain why the TOC tools and application of the CLR’s develop empathy
- Explain the pedagogical benefits of the TOCfE applications of the TOC tools to create relevance of subject matter, to responsible decision making and to differentiate instruction.
Qualification: Upon completion of required TOCfE instruction, submission of an Ambitious Target Tree on being an effective facilitator and example of a Transition Tree, participants will be credentialed as a TOC Learning Connection Master Facilitator and will be authorized to credential those who complete seminar requirements for TACT, TACT Etc, and TOC Learning Connection for a period of two years. Those so authorized will be offered periodic opportunities to upgrade TOC knowledge and skills. Upon completion of upgrade and documented results of two facilitated workshops, original certification will be renewed for additional two years.
