TOC for Education Certification, Level 4- 410

 

Lead Facilitator

 

18 Hours of TOCfE Instruction and Demonstration

 

Prerequisite: TOC Learning Connection Master Facilitator Certification; documented results of a facilitated TOC Learning Connection training; ARC (Addressing Resistance to Change) Certification; The CHOICE (required reading)

 

General Objective: To certify candidates to educate eclectic groups worldwide in any of the TOCfE certified trainings and to apply TOC thinking and communication tools and methodologies to address Goldratt’s ‘Engines of Disharmony’ in classrooms, schools and systems

 

Specific Learning Objectives:

  • Identify obstacles to the general objective
  • Identify actions sufficient to address identified obstacles to the general objective
  • Explain how cultural norms can impact ways to develop the empathy needed to be effective educators
  • Generalize 3 specific conflict CLOUDS into a generic version
  • Construct a Communication Current Reality Tree
  • Construct a CLOUD that defines the conflict of a leader when delegating responsibility with authority
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using CLR’s when questioning and evaluating ideas of others
  • Create an Ambitious Target and transition tree on creating a learning curve
  • Explain Goldratt’s ‘Engines of Disharmony’
  • Identify TOC tools and methodologies to address each engine of disharmony
  • Create an Ambitious Target Tree on implementing Engines of Harmony in a classroom, school or system
  • Explain the concept of double loop learning
  • Identify obstacles to achieving double loop learning
  • Identify intermediate objectives to address obstacles to achieving double loop learning
  • Explain the relationships between the TOC fundamental principle, “Never Say you Know,’ the concept of assumptions and the 4 stages of competence and how they impact life-long learning

 

Qualification: Upon completion of required hours of instruction, demonstration and submitted process work, participants will be credentialed as a TOCfE Lead Facilitator for 2 years and authorized to certify groups of students worldwide in any of the TOCfE certified trainings. Those so authorized will be offered periodic opportunities to upgrade TOC knowledge and skills. Upon completion of upgrade, certification will be renewed for additional two years.
